The entire community is scrambling this morning as news of the nation-wide recall hit last night. Here are the facts:
- ALL Auvi-Q are being recalled due to a potential dosage issue
- You MUST replace your Auvi-Q with another epinephrine auto-injector
- You need a prescription from your Doctor for the new auto-injector
- Keep all receipts and proof of purchase for potential reimbursement
- Keep your Auvi-Q auto-injectors
- Notify your child’s school and teachers of the change in auto-injectors
- Know which auto-injector you have been prescribed and how to use it
